Will a mother squirrel eat her babies?

I know that she will abandon them if stressed out. Will a mother squirrel eat her babies?
I've heard that if you molest a hamsters young, the mother will eat the babies. Maybe its the same for squirrels. It is highly likely. Will a mother squirrel eat her babies?
First of all, in response to some of your other answers, squirrels are NOT exclusively vegetarian. They will eat insects and other invertebrates, and also eggs and baby birds if they find them in the nest.

However, no animal will eat its own young simply out of hunger, carnivorous ones included. Many animals WILL eat their young if they are subjected to high levels of stress, though, and this includes squirrels. It's not common, but it does happen. Also, if the babies die, say from starvation or disease, a mother animal will sometimes eat them - it's a way of recycling the nutrients she lost nurturing them.
No , squirrels wont eat their babies other omnivore rodents like rats etc..would do that but not squirrels. They are vegetarians! well I have once seen a squirrel attacking a sparrow and killing it but it did not eat the sparrow. so I am definately sure they would not eat their babies.
No,Squirrels are vegetarians.
